About the developer
Arada is a property development company founded in 2017 by HH Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Chairman of Basma Group, and Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal, Chairman of KBW Investments. The company's initial focus was the emirate of Sharjah, where it has since expanded into Dubai and, more recently, into markets outside the UAE, including Australia and the United Kingdom. Ahmed Alkhoshaibi serves as Group CEO.
Arada's first Sharjah project, Nasma Residences, launched in March 2017. Its largest project to date is Aljada, a mixed-use development spanning approximately 24 million square feet that combines residential, retail, and leisure components. Arada has also developed Masaar, a villa community built around forested green space. In Dubai, the company has entered the market with projects including Jouri Hills, along with branded residences developed under names including Armani Beach Residences and W Residences.
Beyond residential development, Arada operates a number of associated brands in areas such as fitness, food and beverage, and local retail. The company has also expanded internationally, including the acquisition of a majority stake in a London-based mixed-use developer.
