Downtown Dubai is a mixed-use district developed by Emaar Properties, located along Sheikh Zayed Road between Business Bay and DIFC. The area was developed on land previously known by another name, and is now centred around Burj Khalifa, currently the world's tallest building, alongside The Dubai Mall and the Dubai Fountain. The Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall metro station provides direct access to the district.
Residential towers in the area include The Residences, South Ridge, Boulevard Point, 29 Boulevard, Address Residences, and Burj Vista, offering a mix of high-rise apartments and penthouses. Serviced and branded residences are also present, including buildings operated under the Address and Vida hotel brands, which combine residential units with hotel-style services. Additional cultural and retail facilities in the district include Dubai Opera and Souk Al Bahar.
Downtown Dubai attracts a mix of end-users and investors seeking central-city living, alongside buyers drawn to serviced residences for their hotel-style management. The district's boulevards and pedestrian areas connect the main towers to retail, dining, and cultural venues within walking distance.
